Making Papeon even more awesome!

I’ve been working on my passion project called Papeon for quite a while now, the idea behind this project is to simplify a conventional wargame, by eliminating dice and complicated stats and replacing them with action that relies more on the player’s dexterity. Based on that, I had flicking as the main mechanism for my game. The only downside from this mechanic is that my whole gameplay became too fidgety, one nudge, and your minis start to fall around.

As an experiment, I would like to test what if the whole minis can be controlled remotely and players can control the whole units using their phone, while still having the physical minis at the same time in the game. So I started to learn how to code using Arduino, and also start designing a simple mechanism for that and print them using my FDM 3d printer. The first result was this small RC tank that could fit into my papercraft figure, and the best thing of all, it can shoot!
